The Chefman TurboFry Touch 4QT does something none of the other compact air fryers at this price do: it goes to 450°F. The Hi-Fry button boosts temperature during the last two minutes of cooking, which is exactly when the difference between good and great crispness happens. It's a small feature that punches above its weight in daily use.
The easy-view window on the basket is paired with an interior light, so you can check progress without opening the basket and releasing heat. The touchscreen with four presets keeps operation simple, and the shake reminder alarm halfway through cooking is genuinely useful — most people forget to shake their fries and end up with unevenly cooked batches.
At 7.5 pounds it's heavier than the Cosori Lite and noticeably bulkier at 13.8 inches deep. The nonstick basket and rack are both dishwasher safe, which is a real convenience win. The main caveat is that Chefman's brand recognition trails Instant Pot and Cosori, so long-term parts availability is less certain. But for the combination of viewing window, Hi-Fry, and shake reminders at this price, it's hard to beat.
