Our review

Twenty-one speeds sounds like marketing, but it changes how the blender handles different tasks. A coarse chop for salsa needs a very different setting than a smooth butternut squash soup, and having that range means fewer compromises. The single-hand speed wheel is genuinely intuitive — you adjust with your thumb without looking down.

PowerBell technology is the engineering detail that separates this from generic immersion blenders. The bell-shaped head and extra milling blade create more contact between food and blade per rotation, which produces noticeably finer results on purees. SplashControl — the floral bell shape that keeps food inside the blending zone — is the feature you appreciate the first time you blend hot soup without wearing it.

At 400 watts it's the least powerful of the three, and that shows on frozen fruit and very thick mixtures — it works, but takes longer. The EasyClick system lets you swap in Braun's whisk and chopper attachments, but they're sold separately, which adds cost. The plastic housing feels lighter than the Vitamix's stainless steel, though it's perfectly functional.
